Dr. Shaff has extensive experience in forensic testimony in depositions and trials for over 15 years. Dr. Shaff works with both plaintiffs and defendants. He provides Independent Medical Examinations (IME's) and Utilization / Peer Reviews. He has also been an Expert Witness in Chiropractic Malpractice cases.
Dr. Shaff has completed a 100 hour course in Utilization Review and Quality Assurance from Logan College of Chiropractic. This course was a detailed program regarding Peer Reviews, Paper Reviews and the Independent Medical Examination (IME) process. It entailed one hundred hours of course work in Utilization Review with formal presentation of written reports required. To the best of our knowledge, this course is the only one of it's kind in the Chiropractic profession and was designed in an effort to credential Chiropractic physicians active in the Utilization Review process.
